Introducing Rooted Fare x Woon’s Year of the Snake limited-edition flavor: Seaweed Sesame Cashew Butter!

Inspired by our shared experiences as Chinese Americans born and raised in LA and mutual love for traditional favorites with a twist! This spread is based on the salty sea moss snacks we loved growing up, featuring Woon’s Sea Moss Seasoning and freshly roasted white sesame. It’s salty, sweet, and nutty!

Woon is finally coming to Pasadena starting December 30th! Open nightly 5-10pm.

Woon presents Mischief Wine Takeover this Wednesday, November 13th from 5 - 9pm. It’s Woon Wine Wednesday, so there will be $10 glasses, and $10 off bottles on Mischief Wine. We will be running a Firecracker Potato Special by Chef Paul and there will be tunes by Brother Willis. Hope to see you all there!

We’ll be popping up at Marta next Saturday, November 9th for the album release + video screening of our photo/video wizard and one of our first employees ever, Jacob Cummings. We’re so excited and proud of all the talented works he’s put out over the past 5 years and this album encapsulates all of it. You can pick up vinyl copies of the album and grab limited edition tees. We’ll be cooking up noodles and Madre Mezcal , June Shine, and Easy Rider will be providing the drinks, while @alba.collective will be spinning music all night. FREE & open to the public…RSVP if you wish.

Woon presents HalloWooOoN on Saturday, October 26th. We’ll be serving our Blood Red Noodles, drink specials, and hosting a costume contest. Come get spooky and party with us!

We teamed up with our friends and favorite cook book shop, Now Serving, once again to host a pop up featuring Kristina Cho’s new cookbook, Chinese Enough. The evening will feature four specials from the book, interpreted by us at Woon. Including a Shrimp Patty Bao, Scallion Pancake w/ Whipped Tofu, Sesame Gai Lan, and Black Bean Chow Mein.

Woon presents Volume 15 of Woon Tunes featuring Paola Garcia. Paola is one of our line cooks, but can't be defined as just that. She's a human firecracker, story teller, taco builder, music tastemaker, and all around solid human. She spent a lot of time on this, so give it a listen and let it take you away.
